First Days
Please:
-
Let your child come in through the school door unaccompanied after the first few days.
Children working carefully
on their artwork - Do not allow your child to come to school wearing nail varnish.
- Only use plain studs in pierced ears – no hoops or elaborate earrings – this regulation is supported by the PE advisers with safety in mind.
- Help your child to keep his/her reading book clean and dry when being taken to and from school. We sell zip wallets at school for 50p each and these can be bought from the office. Book bags marked with the school logo and name tag are available through the PTA and can be purchased from the office. They are hard wearing and should last throughout your child’s time at this school.
Charging and Remissions Policy
Parents are asked to contribute voluntarily towards the cost of school visits, cooking ingredients etc.
Parking
For the safety of the children, parents are requested not to drive their cars into the school grounds except in an emergency. There is a footpath for pedestrian entry into school, which has been provided for your safety. Please do not to park near the school entrance as this causes congestion. Children should be encouraged to cross with the lollipop lady.
Severe Weather
We will endeavour to keep the school open at all times, but if the weather is very bad, and staff are unable to travel, the school may be closed. Please listen to local radio stations, (Radio Suffolk/SGR) for details.
